Offered in either 5 or 7 days plans, fixed plans for convenience or healthy inside plan where you can customise your meals.

As you know, you can't get healthy after eating one meal alone. You need a carefully crafted program and Food For You can be the plan that you need.
Food For You meals give you the balanced nutrition you need in order to get healthy. OR having the meals at home is a convenient option for busy people.
If you want to truly improve your health you have to stay focused. With a weekly delivery of chef-prepared meals, we do all of the work so you don't have to. And we only prepare our meals with the highest grade produce, locally sourced at every opportunity.
HOW DO I MAKE CHANGES TO MY ORDER?
To cancel your program this will need to be done in writing.
We are happy to accommodate your requests. You must let us know within our deadlines so we can best serve you. After these deadlines, your meals are already on their way to you and we are unable to make changes to that order. If you contact us after the deadline, any changes will be reflected in the following order. If you cancel after the deadline, you will receive and will be billed for this final delivery.
CAN I MODIFY A MEAL?
We don't change our recipes. Our chefs work diligently to make them taste delicious and every recipe is reviewed by our Registered Dietitians for its nutritional benefits. We leave it up to our team of medical experts because of their knowledge of the proper way to combine each ingredient for your individual weight loss needs.
If we modify recipes by adding or excluding ingredients, this will change the nutritional benefit of the entire entree. Each ingredient in every entree that we serve is chosen to supply your body with the right amount of protein, healthy carbohydrates and healthy fats to feed your body's essential needs. This means that our meals contain complex carbohydrates like vegetables, whole grains and fibre along with lean protein and healthy fat ratios.
Please keep in mind that as you exclude items from your menu, this may limit the variety of your weekly program.
DO YOU USE ORGANIC PRODUCE
We try and use organic produce as often as it’s available to us from the farmers market. There are times, however, due to the quantity we require, when the volume required exceeds the availability. We do believe in fresh, local produce with low carbon miles, however, we will not promote that the Food For You Gluten-Free Meal is made with 100% organic produce.
HOW DO I STORE & PREPARE MY MEALS
Please store your meals in the freezer. We recommend that you defrost your meals overnight in the fridge the day before you plan on eating them. This way, it will only take 2/3 minutes in the microwave to heat them ready for consumption. Our meals are already cooked when they are snap frozen, and the less time in the microwave the better result, avoiding overcooking!
HOW DO I REHEAT THE MEALS
We cook our meals at the optimal nutritional content, so they don’t need to be cooked any further which could overcook it. Bring meal back to thawed state by leaving in the refrigerator overnight or 1-2 mins at 350w. Or put in microwave on defrost, setting 150w for approx. 5 min.

CAN YOU CUSTOMISE MY PROGRAM IF I HAVE A HEALTH CONDITION, LIKE TYPE 2 DIABETES?
All of our plans are safe for Type II Diabetes. Please contact your GP if you would like to try our plans and you have Type 1 Diabetes.
Many people who need to lose weight are diagnosed as diabetic or pre-diabetic, and unfortunately, it's becoming more prevalent that Type 2 Diabetes and Coeliac Disease are becoming a joint diagnosis. A Gluten-Free High Protein diet could be highly effective for you to try if you have Type 2 Diabetes, however, we always suggest that you discuss this with your GP first.
All of the meals in our program are properly portioned to give you the right combination of these essential nutrients. As a diabetic on our program, you won't have to worry about preparing your entrees to suit your dietary requirements or worry about over-eating. We do all of the preparation and cooking for you!
If you do have an existing medical condition, please consult with your doctor before starting a weight loss program.
CAN I EXCLUDE A SIDE DISH OR A SAUCE?
YES unless you are following one of our programmes, in that case, different side dishes will throw away the calorie control.
Our dinners are designed to be nutritionally complete and are prepared as a whole meal. This means that we include the dinner with side items. This ensures that they not only taste great but also promote healthy weight loss as well.
DO YOU HAVE A DAIRY FREE OR LACTOSE INTOLERANT MEAL PROGRAM?
We now offer a dairy-free program! It can be viewed here. In regards to our other meals, milk is often used as a cooking ingredient in our entrees and sauces, so please double check before ordering if you have an intolerance.
WHAT SHOULD I DRINK, AND HOW MUCH? CAN I DRINK COFFEE, TEA OR MILK?
We recommend drinking a minimum of eight glasses of water each day. This can be in the form of regular water, decaffeinated diet soft drink, any diet fruit juices.These drinks help keep you hydrated and help "flush" everything out of your system.
You are allowed to drink caffeinated drinks like diet soft drink, coffee, or tea but it is recommended that you limit them to two per day. Caffeine can act as a diuretic so when you drink caffeinated beverages you lose water. If your body loses too much water because you
drink too much caffeine you can become dehydrated.
When you become dehydrated your body will retain any fluids and you will retain more water. While you want to lose some water weight, you do not want to lose too much water weight. Drinking two caffeinated beverages per day is fine and won't necessarily cause your body to retain water, but it is important not to drink more than is recommended.
If you use milk in your coffee make sure it is skim. If you use sugar, use a sugar substitute like Splenda/Equal. Your daily maximum milk intake is 1 cup (250ml). If you have cereal for breakfast in your menu, please be mindful that 150ml is to be used for this meal. The easiest way to monitor this is to fill a cup with 250 mls of skim milk each morning and use it accordingly. When it's gone, you have reached your daily quota.
Milk is okay to drink because it contains protein, however, limit the milk to 250 mls per day because of the lactose and fat content. If you are going to drink milk it is recommended that you drink the skim variety. Don't fall for flavoured milks with added sugars and fat.
CAN I DRINK ALCOHOL AND STILL LOSE WEIGHT?
Yes, you can, however, you must do so in moderation. The recommendation is for women to consume no more than 3 alcoholic drinks per week and men to consume no more than 4 alcoholic drinks per week. Please bear in mind that alcoholic beverages contain large amounts of calories, so this will sabotage your outcomes if you are also focussing on weight loss.
DO I HAVE TO GIVE UP MY FRESH FRUITS AND VEGETABLES?
With Food For You, we provide nutritionally complete plans. Each of our menu items contain vegetables. If you have a craving for fresh fruit and vegetables you can still eat these if you are on our plan.
If you wish to have fruit, we recommend that you eat no more than one serving per day and that the fruit is eaten with some type of protein (i.e. your lunch). Fruit contains a natural sugar called fructose, which can cause your blood sugar to spike when eaten alone. If you eat your fruit with a protein snack, this will help stabilise your blood sugar, and prevent it from fluctuating.
You can also eat your favourite vegetables while on our program. In fact, only one cup of raw vegetables is only about 25 calories. This caloric count is small, but it is recommended that you limit your raw vegetables to no more than four cups per day, which is the equivalent of a large salad. If you choose the salad route, watch out for things like croutons, cheese, and dressing. If you want some dressing on your salad, use only two tablespoons or less of a low fat or light dressing.
HOW LONG WOULD YOU SUGGEST I STAY ON THE PROGRAM?
With Food For You, our plans are an about a healthy lifestyle. So you can stay on them for as long as you choose. The plans are most effective if the span at least 8-12 weeks. Our program was created to promote life-transforming wellness.
Unlike other weight loss plans, there are no nutritional drawbacks to our program. You can stay on Food For You as long as you like without worrying about being deprived of essential nutrition. The Gluten Free aspects of our plan will allow you to achieve inner wellness.

HOW ARE FOOD FOR YOU MEALS DELIVERED?
BRISBANE: We Deliver Daily in Our Refrigerated Vehicles. Temperatures are set at -3.00 in order to keep the food fresh.
GOLD COAST, SUNSHINE COAST, IPSWICH AREA: We Prepare our meals in the Afternoon/ Evening and keep it in our Cold Room at the same temperatures as our vehicles. And delivered the next morning.
OUTER REGIONS: Our meals are made fresh, flash-frozen, packed with highly effective gel packs and shipped in large styrofoam coolers. Items that do not require cooling are still packed within the cooler box.
The quantity of gel packs used in each package is determined by the climate you live in and the time of year. If your delicious goodies arrive partially thawed, keep them in the fridge ready for you to eat over the next week. Please don't refreeze. We recommend you defrost them to room temperature before you microwave them to give you the best outcome.

SIGNATURE REQUIREMENTS FOR DELIVERY?
NO, As long as someone home to receive the meals or you instruct us to leave at the door and the meals are paid for in advance, we do not need signatures.
Outer Regions: As long as FastWay feels it is safe to leave your package upon delivery, they will not require a signature. If your order is shipping to an apartment building, or another form of residence with shared walkways or hallways and the FastWay driver feels your package may be unsafe to leave, they may require a signature and the package may be returned to the depot. Since FastWay takes the responsibility to ensure your package is delivered safely, the decision to require a signature and/or leave your package at your building's management office, or at the main entrance to your building is at your FastWay driver's sole discretion.
